Zycron is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in the San Francisco, CA area.  The successful candidate will take on the management of key client projects with the goal of delivering on time, within budget and within scope.  This is a contract to permanent position.  You must be interested in converting to a full-time employee of the client. 

Experience with population health management tools or analytics projects is a definite plus.  This Project Manager position will evolve into a Program Manager role in the future. 


  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation


  • 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Bachelor's degree required preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • Previous large project experience is desirable
  • Previous exposure to Scrum and Agile is desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • PMP certification is a plus
