Zycron has a great opportunity for mid-level Product Analyst/Business Analyst (PA/BA) with our health care client in Nashville, TN.  This is a 6 month contract with possible extension.  The PA/BA provides support for patient facility/doctor transfer applications (Transfer Center).  Ensures adequate support for the Transfer Center application and all integrations into potential systems, including coordination and assistance with the product implementation and issue resolution, and working with the appropriate IT teams (e.g.  Cloverleaf, Clinical Systems, Client Support Services, DBA, etc.) and appropriate Vendor application resources as necessary.  The PA/BA plays a key role in discovering, developing, refining, implementing, testing and measuring the benefits of these solutions.  


Project Development (25% of time)

  • Provide Business Analysis support for the Transfer Center business including process flows, identifying pain points, feature gaps, and future state development
  • Act as a Product Analyst within Transfer Center and project Integrations, including requirements gathering, design, guiding development, and testing
  • Assist with documenting business, user, functional and non-functional requirements. Creation of requirements deliverables for Transfer Center Products
  • Assist in requirements validation and feasibility analysis with respect to Transfer Center
  • Assist the hardware infrastructure team in Transfer Center Integration configuration/customization for different environments
  • Accurately report issues and status to project management
  • Possess excellent communication skills to interface with various stakeholders from business consumer to technical staff.

Production Support (75% of time)

  • Troubleshooting activities
  • Work on assignments involving the use of various technologies both old and new
  • Complete assignments on time
  • Able to establish and meet due dates
  • Provide afterhours/on-call support as needed
  • Resolve simple production support issues
  • Actively participates in meetings
  • Able to build strong relationships within business owners, department and with other project team members
  • Looks for ways to improve how and what we develop and makes suggestions
  • Take ownership of responsibilities, working individually or with teams to accomplish goals
  • Expected to multitask
  • Assist in the analysis of National Transfer Center month-end reports and quality scorecards, utilizing telephony and KPI reporting to capture performance metrics
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure quality standards are met
  • Develop and maintain companywide patient transfer documentation, utilizing a centralized data repository
  • Conduct quality assurance in the development of new reports
  • Coordinate and host conference calls, document key meeting details, design department’s internal website (Atlas), create “help guides” for the reporting process
  • Admin support for Behavioral Health Rounding application, On-Call Product, other applications within department
  • Track refresh schedule for Transfer Center is occurring timely
  • General support for Transfer Centers including but not limited to monitoring vendor tickets to ensure effective solution has been received and installed
  • Maintain contract repository for all Transfer Center software


Bachelor’s Degree preferred (but not required)


3 or more years


  • Detailed oriented and analytical with good organization skills
  • Must have the ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills and communicate effectively with individuals at various levels within the organization
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently with little supervision
