Zycron has a great opportunity for a Deployment Specialist (Desktop Analyst III) with our client in Fort Wayne, IN.  This is a 90 day contract to permeant position. 

The Desktop Analyst III will act as the Deployment Specialist for End User devices for CPOE/Win7. Deploying the CPOE Medhost/HMS application and hardware, along with Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System as an Enterprise Desktop Standardization initiative.


  • Identify company assets, workstations, mobile devices, peripherals, as part of endpoint deployment required for CPOE (Current state)
  • Physically deploy any equipment associated with CPOE. Desktops/Laser and Barcode Printers/Scanners/laptops/tablets
  • Configure network connectivity from devices to wireless /hardwired network
  • Set up and configure mobile devices, WOW’s
  • Configure AS/400 printing from devices
  • Resolve application compatibility issues with Microsoft Windows 7
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in communication with corporate subject matter experts regarding Microsoft Windows desktop environments
  • Analyze and resolve customer issues by providing third level support to end-users
  • Test all devices at end user point before leaving any area
  • Adhere to all Hospital policies and corporate code of conduct at all times
  • Keep a neat clean workspace including taking out corrugated trash


  • Extensive knowledge of Group Policy / Microsoft Active Directory environment
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft SCCM 2012 for:

a. Enterprise Client Deployment 
b. Software delivery / packaging 
c. Patch management 
d. Task sequencing 
e. DMZ Deployment Configuration / Architecture 
f. Reporting 

  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and applications 
  • Displays a mastery of Microsoft system registry, Active Directory, Group Policy, and hardware/software inventory tools 
  • Fluency in creating and distributing software applications (.MSI’s) and Microsoft WSUS 
    Familiarity with Citrix, SQL, and Java, AppV 
  • Requires a complete understanding of all aspects of computer security including patch management, desktop based attack vectors, and anti-virus protection schemes. 
  • TCPIP Networking experience
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work as a team


  • Must also be able to work weekends and after-hours, holidays as required, occasionally 14 day assignments
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds and have the use of both hands
  • Assignments can be in different locations week to week
  • High visibility, fast pace environment requires the ability to remain calm and focused

Personal Attributes:

  • Ability to professionally interact with Physicians/Nurses in all Hospital Departments

Additional skills:

  • PWA or Microsoft Project for time/task reporting weekly highly desired
